During a four-day filming expedition across Ireland for the ITM Irish Stallion Trail, we were granted exclusive access to capture footage at one of the globe’s premier Thoroughbred breeding facilities.

Coolmore Stud, located in County Tipperary, Ireland, is widely recognised as one of the largest and most successful thoroughbred racehorse breeding operations worldwide. Owned by John Magnier and nestled in the heart of the Golden Vale on over 7,000 acres of Ireland’s finest limestone terrain, Coolmore offers an ideal setting for the breeding and upbringing of thoroughbreds.

The purpose of the film was to showcase not only the exceptional facilities and world-acclaimed stallions at Coolmore Stud but also to highlight the professionalism of the staff and the warm, friendly welcome synonymous with Ireland, creating a comprehensive portrayal of the stud’s unique offerings.

Filmed with a Canon EOS C70 Camera, Canon RF 24-70mm F2.8L IS USM Lens, Tilta Shoulder Rig Pro, and DJI Mavic 3 Pro Drone.
