Donnacha O’Brien is an Irish racehorse trainer and former two-time Irish Champion Jockey,
the son of world renowned and multiple champion trainer Aidan O’Brien and brother of former jockey and trainer Joseph O’Brien.

We asked Donnacha to relive his famous Irish Derby victory aboard Latrobe and find out how it felt to provide his brother, Joseph, with his first Irish Derby win whilst, beating Dad, Aidan.

Setting the scene in the comfort of his office at his stables in Co. Tipperary, Ireland on a dark rainy day, we ensured the lighting brought warmth and b-roll was captured to support the story which can be hard to relive some years later.
