Finalist at the Smiley Charity Awards 2023.

The Include Choir is an inspirational charity, founded by Alix Lewer, which works with people with and without communication and understanding difficulties using music as a way to learn Makaton sign language, have fun and networking with peers.

The management team of volunteers wanted a film to help explain what inclusive communication is and show the difference all the things they do at The Include Choir make to people’s lives.

We filmed a number of events throughout the course of a month, from their weekly training days to their public events with a brief to capture the interaction between the members. We produced a series of 4 films for publishing on social media.

In March 2023, amidst an impressive lineup of 400 films, we were thrilled to learn that our film for The Include Choir had been shortlisted as one of the 18 finalists in the prestigious 2023 Smiley Charity Film Awards – it was a humbling moment for us.

This recognition fills our hearts with immense pride reinforcing our unwavering commitment to eloquently and authentically tell stories, capturing the true essence of those we film.
