We’re delighted to announce that our short film, The Healer, will have its UK premiere at the CINECITY Brighton Film Festival 2025.

This marks an exciting milestone for everyone at Agility Films and the talented team of creatives who helped bring this story to life.

A Story That Connects

We couldn’t think of a more fitting venue for The Healer’s UK premiere. CINECITY celebrates bold, thought-provoking storytelling, and we’re thrilled that this emotional, character-driven film will make its debut as part of this year’s festival lineup.

A Collaborative Achievement

The Healer was produced by Lee Mancini at Agility Films, written by Trudy Williams, and directed by Will Jewell, featuring an outstanding cast including Jason Buda, Christine Bottomley, and Ariyon Bakare.

The film was filmed at the Viewpoint Centre and created in association with RSA Short Films and supported by our partners at Absolute Post, Sound Canvas, and Fractured Films, among others. Each collaborator brought skill, passion, and care to ensure the story was told with authenticity and emotional depth.

Looking Ahead

For Agility Films, The Healer represents the kind of filmmaking we believe in, purpose-led stories that spark empathy, conversation, and connection.

We’re so proud of everyone involved and can’t wait to share the film with audiences at CINECITY and beyond.
